DESIGNER + CO-CREATOR
Alexandra Caprara is a queer interdisciplinary artist from Tkaranto, Ontario whose practice is grounded in performance making and design, with a focus on devised processes, movement, interactivity, and design lead creation. Her work often centers themes of femininity, autonomy, somatics, and queer ecology, and believes in making and producing work that center queer joy. She has worked internationally as a director, performer, and designer for lighting and video projection, and has presented her work across Canada alongside companies such as WorkMan Arts, Factory Theatre, Theatre Replacement, UpInTheAir, and Surrey Art Gallery. Her written work has also been published with SadMag, Return Trip Magazine, and Feels Zine. Select credits include designing for Mediation (Amber Barton, Re/Play), assistant design for An Undeveloped Sound (Electric Company Theatre) direction and creation of EVREN (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), and projection design for A Silent Howl (Dancing on The Edge).
PERFORMER + CO-CREATOR
Arthi Chandra is a Vancouver based director, writer, and theatre maker. She is the Artistic Director of The Library Performance Collective. Her practice is rooted in devising text-based new works, and adaptations of contemporary and classical plays. Her work focuses on queerness, joy, and parties. Recent works include Antigonick (Shaw Festival; Neil Munro Apprentice), Done/Undone (Bard on the Beach), and HOT DYKE PARTY (Library Performance). Arthi also teaches devising and directing (Studio 58, Toronto Metropolitan University, VanArts). She is the artist in residence at the Arts Club, and is an associate artist with Theatre Replacement. She is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s School for the Contemporary Arts.

BRIANNA BERNARD
Brianna Bernard (she/her) is a Vancouver artist who takes interest in both the creative and practical departments of art. With a background in technical theatre and digital media, Brianna has taken on roles such as technical director, lighting designer and stage designer. She holds a BFA in Theatre Production & Design from Simon Fraser University. Originally born and raised in Jamaica, Brianna is thankful to now work, create and reside on the stolen lands of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations.

BLUE CHU
Blue Chu aka Lilbluebeluga, creates and plays on the stolen and unceded ancestral territories of the Coast Salish People of the Kwikwetlem (kʷikʷəƛ̓əm), Qayqayt (qiqéyt), Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw) and Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm) First Nations.They are a mixed-race, queer, non-binary person, performer, composer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, writer, improviser, musical comedian and clown. Their life's work is to spread joy and make music! Yay! They released a self-produced home-recorded, solo debut album, The Whale Tale Between Two Fins, under Lilbluebeluga, created the format, Queerside Stories: The Improvised Musical, performed occasionally by Queerprov, with Blue as the musical accompanist. They are in, Peaceful Blips, an improvised musical comedy duo (2023 Vancouver Fringe). Their clown persona, Mei Xing is the Ambassador of Wonder at Places des Arts in Coquitlam (2023-2024). Mei Xing has also performed in the 2023 Play the Fool Festival and will be at the 2024 Edmonton Fringe.

CINDY KAO
Cindy is a Taiwanese actor / sound artist, (Ketegalan and Siraya Nations) based in
Vancouver (Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh Nations). She received a BFA in Theatre Performance at Simon Fraser University, with a classical violin background certified by the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Cindy’s interdisciplinary works include starring in “A Family Act” presented by Whistler Film Festival (Jury Award Winner) | Award recipient for Reel 2 Real Film Festival (Best Actor Award) | Music on Main feature, New York Electroacoustic Music Festival with Sapphire Haze duo partner Aysha Dulong | Music Composition and Instrumentalist for “Happy Valley-馬照跑舞照跳” by Derek Chan | Sound Design for “Peace Country” by Pedro Chamale.

BERNICE PAET
Bernice Paet is a stage manager and a multidisciplinary artist who creates installations and short performance works that engage with design, including collage, light, and video projection. Wrapping up her BFA in Theatre Production and Design at Simon Fraser University, her current curiosity is the impact of relationships in all the experiences and forms they may come in.
She is moved by the love she finds around her and in other cases, has lost. Bernice finds excitement in the process of connecting with people and objects on a deeper level and the relationship that is built from them. Therefore, striving to create works that showcase physical and emotional intimacy. Her works encourage the audience to take a closer look and build togetherness through themes surrounding mental health, vulnerability, and relationships 一 emphasizing the importance of being seen, even in the littlest things.

MADELEINE POLAK
Madeleine (she/her) is an emerging queer theatre maker from Edmonton currently based in Vancouver, where she is in her third year of the BFA Design and Production program at the University of British Columbia. Dual specialising in costume design and stage management, recent credits include stage management for Concord Floral (UBC Theatre), Erlking: A New Musical (Scona Alumni Co.), and assistant stage management for The Prom (Theatre Under the Stars), as well as costume design for Theory of Relativity (UBC MTT) and The Importance of Being Earnest (UBC Players). Select upcoming credits include costume design for St. Joan of the Stockyards (UBC Theatre).

HAYLEY SULLIVAN
Hayley Sullivan is an actor and musician originally from Australia. She trained at both Actors Centre Australia and The Atlantic Acting School in New York.

THULE VAN DEN DAM
Thule van den Dam is an interdisciplinary artist from the Netherlands based in Vancouver on stolen Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh territories. She has a BA in Human Ecology with a concentration in international environmental policy, critical theory, and theatre. Her artistic collaborations include work with Mammalian Diving Reflex, Double Edge Theater, Bard On The Beach, and The Library Performance Collective.
